Voilà la robe! Enfin, je l'ai finie! Thank you for all of your help, suggestions, and encouragement. Fortunately, after blocking, no additional ruffles (or any steeks) were needed. As long as the little one doesn't have a crazy growth spurt between now and Saturday, we should be okay!
I fell in love with this yarn. It has a very subtle sheen to it that really makes the pattern stand out. I'm hoping to get some better photos once the dress is on her - and with the help and artistic abilities of Aunts "M" & Tate.
Thanks most of all to my handsome husband for being so supportive and understanding - especially when knitting comes before dishes, folding that pesky laundry and of course, sleep. He never gets a break from my knit ramblings and never questions my saying "just one more row"! Thank you sweetie, for the gift of time. Even though that meant that you got stuck doing all the driving! Now, just as one project comes to an end, the holiday knits list seems to be growing. Time for more stress-knitting on a deadline! But not tonight! Everyone needs some rest!
