A few of my favorite things

Just when the "to do" and UFO lists are coming together nicely and it appears that my deadlines are reasonable, the latest issue of Interweave Knits arrives! Tucked in between some beautiful and rather ambitious projects - that I know don't fit into my queue at the moment - is this little tease by Vicki Square under the title of The Thinking Knitter: Start as Many New Projects as You Can! Keep knitting fresh through concurrent projects. Now with a knitting bag (or 2) already brimming with concurrent projects, this idea isn't new to me. However, it does seem like justification or rather rationalization to cast on yet another project! This time it is this gem that has been knit, tinked, frogged, re-invented, frogged again and was patiently waiting to be rediscovered in the stash. This beautiful Blue Sky Alpaca Silk inspires a few of my favorite things:
1. Morning coffee
2. Blue Sky Alpaca silk
3. A new knitting magazine
4. The LYS
5. Levenger 3 x 5" grid cards
6. #3 pencils
7. Sharpie Ultra Fine point markers
8. Rediscovering a fabulous yet forgotten project
9. Knitpicks Harmony Woods US9 16"
10. Knitone knitting bags
